My honest guess is there will be big shortages at this point. It depends how long it really takes for the world to recover and get an ounce of normality going, my guess at this point is there will be a delay. The other thing is they could do similar to
the Nintendo Wii and with low stock they can raise the price per unit and cash in on it, but due to the ps5 being released at the same time its very risky if they did that

It's too early to know anything about the launch window for the Xbox Series X (or the PS5) right now. There have been wide reports of manufacturing delays in multiple fields due to this current covid-19 pandemic, and I'd assume it would be affected both
console's manufacturing if this goes on for the next months. I'd also assume that the consoles aren't being manufactured right now, but there are also reports that this pandemic has led to a shortage when it comes to components. It's possible that this means
that the components for both consoles will be more expensive for Microsoft and Sony to purchase, so it might result in an increased price for the consoles too.

Ultimately, we just don't know enough right now, so most things will be pure speculation.

I don’t foresee that becoming an issue. The new system isn’t due to be released until November, I believe COVID-19 will be long behind us by then. I also believe the hardware has already been designed and is currently being manufactured for the release,
any software work can be done remotely if need be. Of course this is only my opinion.

I think it's to early to say. As far as we know now everything is a go for a holiday 2020 launch.

They said last week the Series X is still coming out this holiday season.
