There is no indication of ending Xbox one services at any point in the foreseeable future

If your system is connected via ethernet it automatically disable the Wi-Fi. You can't do both.

It sounds like your hardware has failed and will need to be repaired or replaced

I sincerely doubt that the 360 will die out, until Microsoft shuts down its servers.

Too many people just don't have the money to buy a XONE, and the 360's are still being manufactured; furthermore, they're on sale at most retailers, thus gaining new customers for it.

Now, the games will eventually stop being made for BOTH the 360 and ONE. Instead, Microsoft will simply make Xbox One games.

My prediction is that there will be talk of shutting the servers down for 360 in...2017.

Little bit more info as its just done it while i was posting the last message.

Playing game then game freezes and makes a sound through tv speakers which sounds a bit like an old pc loading of tapes does this for 3 or 4 seconds then totally shuts down but will power back up straight away then runs as if nothing has happened

I wouldnt worry about servers being shut down or anything like that considering the Xbox 360 ones are still online. Some game servers may be shut down, but that wont be for a while.

Im having sort of the smae problem with my Xbox One S. I was playing a game on my xbox and suddenly it shuts down for no reason and lost all my progress. It did a complete shut down. And it has already been to to microsoft for an internet problem and all
they did was factory reset it like they were talking about the Xbox One X
