Is the Xbox functions no longer working and shutting down?

By regular Xbox do you mean the original Xbox? Live for the original Xbox was shut down years ago so gift cards will no longer work for that. They will work for the Xbox 360 or One.

Then explain how they shut down Xbox 1's servers without losing 360 functionality

for XBox Live support on the original XBox[/quote]Not exactly.To add new features to Live required discontinuing support for original consoles. It wasn't so much they took down the servers as they wanted to extend functionality on the Live
platform in such a way that the old XBOX would be incompatible.

Is this related to tge "narrator" function on the xbox one?

If you press and hold the xbox button (as if to shut down) and select the narrator option, are you able to toggle it do that it is off?

That doesn’t work with XBOX360
