    Is the Xbox events app safe to use?


    I’m wondering if the Xbox event app(beta) is safe to use because I opened it on accident and now I’m worried because the app is a beta app and I’m worried that it’s gonna damage my Xbox.

    ^ no worries, I'm pretty sure some of them say GT1 or GT2 on the car title, to be safe, just buy a Ferrari Risi. Use the events list races for cash if you need to.

    I would've thought you would need Gold to use the majority, if not all of those apps, I think only the i player app is free for silver members atm. Out of those apps though I would only really use the Gametrailers app, I wonder if you'd be able to stream
    their LIVE all access events they do for E3 and the VGA's etc through the app, would kinda make the Xbox LIVE event player pointless though

    Hi,

    We want to get this resolved for you. Here are steps on how to run Xbox app under safe mode:

    1. Press the Start Menu button and click the Power button.

    2. Press and hold Shift on your keyboard and click on Restart.

    3. When your computer restarts, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings and click the Restart button.

    4. When your computer restarts again, press F5 to enter Safe Mode with Networking.

    5. Once you enter Safe Mode, start the Xbox app.

    6. If Xbox app works properly in Safe Mode, restart your computer and problems with Xbox app should be resolved.
