Is the Xbox controller button issue ever going to be fixed?

Problem is all of them have the same issue. It is a design flaw, So swapping them does not help.

Last week I was in a shop and they let me try the Elite 2. Same issue. Mostly Y and A button are impacted.

I have sent a sample solution last year to MS and got a thank you for it.

Last year somewhere in April MS has acknowledged the issue and stated "They are investigating the issue" so I decided to wait for the solution.

But now 18 months later still nothing from MS and the issue remains. Mine are even getting worse so I wanted to send them in again. But now they are out of warranty just because i was waiting for a real solution. Can't even send them back..

This is how it works now. by putting some plastic next to the buttons they can't wiggle that much. This means there is a simple solution for this....

It isnt it depends on the users use

Any controller has this issue its down to how players use the controller

And threats of legal action will only get this locked

I had my controllers for 10 years since my launch xbox one I even stjll have 360 controllers

Thats not to say manufacturing defects dont happen however after a year its all about use

Youd be hardpressed to get any manufacturrer even sony to replace one for free

You can still ask for a repair even if its paid

However if you live in europe its free repair within 2 years

drift is the only issue I've ever had, and it's very upsetting. Dead zone fixed the issue on my older xbox one controller but my new series x controller only lasted about 9 months and even I baby these things. They don't make them like they used to. I wish all I had was sticky buttons.
