    Is the TV breaking my headset


    I have had two different Turtlebeach Recon 70s that have had this problem. I have a Roku+Onn 24 inch TV and it has a headphone port in the back. Whenever I put my headphones in the port so I can watch a show, when I put them back in my Xbox controller I can hear the game but not the party and it won’t register my speaking even though my microphone settings are all where they were before and I’m not muted. pls help because I’ve spent $100 on headsets in two months.

    P.S. both headsets were owned for a month before this happened. Also here is a pic of the port in the back of the TV

    Please clean the headphone jack when it comes out of the TV and see if that helps

    Xbox one wireless headset ?

    If you're careful and don't actually break your headsets, I'd recommend the Turtlebeach x42s (or higher). They're wireless and can be used in conjunction with the Kinect sensor (allows for you to ignore TV sound while simultaneously using the sensor) or
    with the headset adapter. ;)
