Is the metal around the usb port grounded/isolated?

Whenever you clean your console, always disconnect the power cable from the console.

This is important, especially if you have carpeted floors as static electricity can build up and discharge.

Thanks for the advice, i have also heard that it would be best to not unplut electronic units, because leaving them in the wall outlet making them grounded?

And like Christopher say the different ports on the console should be well isolated, so if you toutch one of the outputs like usb or internet cable port, it should be isolated like if you toutch them, the human electric shock that happen should lead to a place where it dosnt do any harm on the internal electronics?

I now start to think that human electricity happens and there is nothing you can toutch from outside to bring the shock inside the console, like this is only a threat if you open the console and start toutching it from inside?

Now it sounds like i disagree with you, i have no idea and i just share my thoughts, now that i start to think about the ports/metal objects inside/outside the ports on the console should be isolated for a security reason too, since it’s powered with power from the wall outlet.

Sounds like its isolated to the USB port on the controller or related hardware, the cable or USB ports on PC/Laptop but if the same cable works on the same USB ports on other devices, that would rule that out.
