    I’ve had the game for a bit and my older brother got it on steam but I have it on Xbox app for windows it says it’s the PC version but after about an hour of research I could find anything to help with my question so I came here.

    this game is only available trough steam for the pc version and the one showed in the Xbox app is for the Xbox one,

    also this game does not support crossplay so you wont be able to play between platform

    Hello,

    CrossPlay is available between Windows Store (PC) and Steam players unfortunately this is currently impossible with Xbox players.

    On the other hand there is the Cross Save between the Xbox One and the PC.

    Same. The multiplayer of the steam version works fine vithout any issue. My frend have a microsoft version, so i downloaded it in xbox app too. It isn't working at all. Maybe we get a bugfix soon, at least i hope so. Why we dont have a crossplay between steam and xbox version?! Oh, i know why, because xbox version doesn't have a multiplayer at all.
