Is the Halo Reach DLC for MCC part of Game Pass Ultimate?

Then I had a chat with support (who was telling me that MCC is an EA game: "Upon checking further , this game is one of the EA game." and "Whenever you have a game pass ultimate you can access and play for the games for EA since game pass

is a bundle of EA and live gold.")

Then I went to the xbox (game) store through a browser and guess what - I found this:

"You can use Halo - REACH with Xbox Game Pass for Console, or buy it to own."

And there was a link to remote install the DLC on myXbox - and I didn't have to pay for it!

Trying to do that directly on my Xbox always wanted to charge me while still teasing it was free for Game Pass subscribers.

I bought Halo MCC on disc a while ago and it just updated, I was able to play reach on it once, but now every time I try to open the game it says that I need to play on an account that has a subscription and/or an account that has the updated game
pass, but I bought the game on disc? Why isn’t it allowing my to play a game I bought?

Reach isn't included with Halo Master Chief Collection, it's paid DLC for Halo MCC, but it's also part of Game Pass. Did you have an active Game Pass subscription or active trial when you tried out Reach last time?

Or are you getting the same message whenever you try to play any other part of Halo MCC too?

Hi, do you own the master MCC on xbox with a digital copy or a physic (on DVD) one?

I honestly did not heard about the fact that the MCC will be free for PC players who already own the xbox version, but note that the campaign of Halo reach is not included in the base MCC but it is available as a standalone DLC for 10$, so even if if you
own the MCC you will not be able to play the single player of halo reach if you do not buy the DLC, you can also play it with an active subscription of the game pass since they have included the complete MCC with reach and ODST in it.

- Halo: Reach is indeed part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

- If you're new to MCC on Xbox One, you can obtain the entire updated collection with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for Console. Alternatively, you can purchase it through the Microsoft Store for $39.99 (price may vary from different region)

- To access Halo: Reach, ensure that you've downloaded the entire Master Chief Collection and look for it within the game.

- Halo 3: ODST:

- Halo 3: ODST is also part of MCC.

- On Xbox, MCC comes with Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Reach and ODST are considered add-ons.

- On PC, all these titles are included, but currently, only Reach, CE, and Halo 2 are available, with Halo 3/ODST and Halo 4 coming later.

- Game Pass Members:

- If you're an Xbox Game Pass member, make sure you've selected "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" from the bundle.

Game pass is definitely the best bang for your buck. One thing to note, if you get Game Pass Ultimate and play MCC on PC, then right now for PC only Halo Reach and Halo 1 are available. They will be rolling out the rest in time but they are doing it one
game at a time on the PC. For Xbox you get all the games right away.
