    Is the elite 2 controller worth getting?


    A question that many have asked. Let me answer it for you. Absolutely not. I've stuck by xbox since the halo days, I own over 245 digital games, got the original elite controller, and have attempted to use the elite 2 as well.

    Simply put ive had 3 elite 2 controllers each with light use and problems. The first 2 were immediate so I was able to return. The third one I didn't use for awhile due to working nonstop and when I finally got to use it, it displayed the same issues talked
    about over the web. The rb double clicks then a day after my 3rd time using the controller stops working. I contact customer support and even though its a know issue, I was over my warranty by 2 days. So the only.way to get it fixed is to pay a 99 dollar service
    fee. So I'm expected to pay 290 dollars for a non working controller that has had known issues since day 1? On top of that and probably get it back with it still having issues? Yeah xbox for me is dead. Was stoked about the new Xbox but will 100 percent be
    switching to Sony. You should do the same. Thats not even the worst part about Microsoft and if your like details feel free to message me. Don't give these clowns any more of your money.

    As far as I know any if the issues on the original elite controllers have been fixed on the elite 2.

    It's worth buying in my opinion!

    I would recommend an Elite series 2 WITH A WARRANTY. The series 2 is a nice controller to own but has a history of breaking down at the worst times. If you get an extended warranty it will make the purchase worth it.

    Hi there Todd and sorry about your bad experiences with the xbox elite controller.

    As i dont own the elite controller i cant really comment on its build quailty but i have seen some of the reviews for it which you mentioned and is what put me off getting one myself.

    However the xbox elite controller 2 has been released and this seems to have some promising early reviews and has made myself even consider getting one.

    I know this doesnt help fix your broken controller but it may be worth taking alook at the elite 2 if your in the market for getting a new controller.

    I would say it is definitely worth it. The Elite Series 2 controller is amazing. A solid controller with lots of different setup combinations. I love mine.

    I have numerous controllers but I use my Elite series 1 controller the most. I have not tried out the series 2 controller yet. The controller for me has been worth the money I spent on it. So if you have the extra money definitely go with a Elite controller.
