Is the " Community Update" initiative dead before it started ?

after downloadin the patch the initial start to Community Creations was slow, but after that its workin like a charm, way better than before....

Yes. The console has to go through an initial update before it can be used.

I believe the initial download size is 500MB but because of updates that happened between launch and now that size can be a bit larger. The initial download needs to be downloaded before you can play offline. The other updates that came afterwards (it's
packed into 1 update) needs to be downloaded before you can access Xbox Live to download stuff from the marketplace.

The reason the game install sits at 0% initially is because before the installation can take place game updates are being downloaded in the background. There is no indicator for the update progress. All you can do it wait. Depending on the update size and
the speed your internet connection this may take a little or a lot of time before the installation process takes place. Go ahead and keep your console connected and wait for a little while to see if the game update completes and the installation starts.

Now that I have Gamepass I might try this game before the community is totally dead.
