    Is the a way to get a replacement controller for an update issue?


    I've been researching for a few years now on ways to try and fix the controller 1537 update bricking that keeps it from working on anything at all either Bluetooth or wired,I read somewhere that someone had a similar issue and was given a refurbished controller as the issue is widespread and well known for the model 1537, so I was wondering if I have to call someone to get it, I just wanna get back to gaming on the go again as this this is my only controller.

    I tried the hard reset option by holding the pair button but it never did the double vibrating indication or turn off.

    Almost forgot I use to use it on my pixel 6 and Xbox but it went into a update and said it was finished and good to go but it just stopped working overall.

    • When did you purchase this controller?
    • How old is this Xbox One Controller?
    • How did the update happened? Did you update it connected via Wired or Wireless?

    To be honest with you, the Replacement process follows a very strict and specific requirement. The most common acceptable reason of a replacement is if there's factory defect or if your controller still within the warranty period.



    What I can recommend you to do is to revert the update, but you need to take into consideration that:

    • You should only revert your controller firmware if your controller is having frequent problems with connections to non-Xbox devices.
    • Some older model controllers may not see the option to revert the firmware.

    Hey there, Phocks13! Sounds like the adapter you purchased is a 3rd party adapter, because we do not have an official adapter that lets you connect 360 headsets to your controllers. The update for the controllers isn't created for those, so it may be that
    the update became corrupted because of this. That would mean that the only way to fix your controllers is to get them repaired/replaced. This thread is over a year old. If you get them replaced and you're still having the same issue without the adapter, please
    post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed. This way our community can get you the individual support that works best on the forums. :)

    Headset question

    Could be an issue with the controller if the mic works on other controllers. I would try updating the controller or looking into getting a new one(either through a warranty for replacement or purchase).

    Astro 40 mixamp cant connect

    I am a few different Astro headsets and though could be an issue with the headset it's self, I would recommend plugging the controller in with out the headset to the Xbox and seeing if it needs an update. If it does, that could be the issue keeping the
    mic from working. If it does not, you would need to contact Astro and find a way to get the head phones replaced and or find a way to test the headphones on a different controller to see if they work. Hope that helps and you are able to get back to gaming
