Is the 4K xbox one x patch live?

Wondering if the COD WW2 XBOX ONE X enhanced patch is live or how do I get it? What size should the game be with the enhanced pack? Surely bigger than the 59 gigs that mine is right now right?

How do I download the 4k patches in preparation?

4K patches will automatically download on your Xbox One S when available.

On the Xbox One X, if your game installation didn't get the 4K patch ahead of time, they'll still get the 4K patches as a required update before you play it.

Yes the update is out now. It does not get tagged right in the games and apps and being enhanced, but that's a known bug. The file size, from what I have read was about 9 gigs. So the file size you have seems accurate. Mike Ybarra☃️ on Twitter

Thanks for the response, just seems rather small compared to the other enhanced titles.. Especially since it is actually supposed to be "4K" as opposed to others just being enhanced and having much larger add on download sizes..

As I said, not all games will have 4K textures. The new Assassins Creed Origins patch for Xbox One will bring 4K support. It's size is 1.8GB. Small? That's because it has no 4K texture enhancement. The gane will be 4K though on One X.

that feature was to preload the 4k patches to the games so you have them installed when you transfer your games to the xbox one x. If you start a game on the xbox one x that is enhanced for the console and there is no prompt for an update it means you already
have the 4k assets.

Be aware that that there are one or two ways Xbox One enhanced games work when it comes to 4K. Some games are simply optimised to run in 4K resolution and nothing else is added to the game code. The textures remain the same as the standard Xbox, but everything
looks sharper and crisp because the game is running natively at 3840x2160.

For example Assassins Creed Origins and Assassins Creed Odyssey run in 4K with HDR, but have no additional 4K assets. Wolfenstein The New Colossus has no 4K assets either, just a resolution bump.

I don't think Shadow of the Tomb Raider has 4K assets. The Division doesn't have 4K assets either, as far as I'm aware. However, it does need the latest patch to run in 4K. If you ran the Division in offline mode straight after the disc install on an
Xbox One X, it will play as if it were running on a standard Xbox One.

I don't think RDR2 has any 4K assets, the game simply runs in 4K on the One X console. The Patch does not contain any additional texture data for the One X platform.
