    Is playing 4k on series x can reduce lifespan of my console compare to playing 1440p gaming? I mean if i play 4k on series x will it reduce its health over time due to more load on hardware ?

    What resolution are you trying to run at

    If 4k 120 Hz then no it won't run at thaf

    The max for series s is 1440p at 120hz

    It will play at 4k bur only some games and with issues

    The series s is meant for 1080p 120 max

    With suggested 90hz

    The xbox series x and ps5 and switch pro are the only 4k consoles

    One x does 4k at 30hz and ps4 pro upscales

    no, that's definitely not the case it is designed to perform. They know exactly the results they're getting from the code that they give the hardware. It's not even a PC, there's no variable

    Untill now i was playing 2k gaming only, i thought it will let my xbox last few more years, but yeah if you sure that 4k gaming doesn't make any chnage to life of hardware than i will play 4k onwords now....

    Yes, The Xbox Series X will play at 1080p fine, but the Xbox Series X is a 4K gaming console,

    If you're not planning to upgrade to a 4K TV / Monitor, I'd say it not worth getting the Series X in my opinion, you're much better off with the Xbox Series S as that is a 1080p / 1440p gaming console and you'll save some money if you're staying at 1080p,
