Is my Xbox x covered for theft?

If you have house insurance or renters then yes

Normally household.items are covered under that

There is no warranty in the world that covers theft that's is what insurance is for

Check with your broker before making a claim but keep in mind the deductible so if it's more then the items worth (they have a value system so you may not get the full value depending on age)

If you rent you have to check with your landlord (keep in mind it could affect your rent)

If it affects your premiums one lost item may not be worth making a claim.this is something you have to talk to your broker about

Fyi to make any warranty claim you need to send in the device regardless of manufacturer

Sorry to hear about what happened. I am afraid that it's not covered under normal warranty. Unless you sign it up from your insurance company.

The warranty for the console wouldn't cover it if it was stolen, thats what home and content insurance is for. When I moved in with my partner, we covered all of my consoles and computers in case of theft, as I'm quite the collector.

You need to call the police on a theft, and they will handle it. For reimbursment, you need to look into your home insurance as to whether you are covered for that.

I'm having the exact same problem.

I have purchased a bundle with Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode (Xbox Series X|S)

I've logged in on my Xbox Series X and it is downloading the normal version of Grand Theft Auto and not the Xbox Series X|S version.

I've deleted all data and it is still downloading the normal version. I've even logged in on XBOX online and tried installing remotely but still no joy.

This is why I don't like theft - even warranties and most insurance won't cover theft because it's so easy to hide something and simply say it was stolen. It's bad for everyone as a whole.
