    Is My Xbox One Banned?


    Recently a friend of mine created an account on my xbox one and uploaded a lewd/nude photo as the profile picture. This led to the account not being able to play on xbox live, not being able to talk in an xbox live party, or communicate with anyone via message,
    post, club, etc. Not only this account is affected. All my accounts are now effected by this only on my console. I've signed into my account that is NOT banned on another console and it worked fine. I've recently checked that the account that commited the
    violation no longer has an active suspension, so what gives? I'm not about to buy a new xbox because actions and violations I did not commit. Someone from support/enforcement can you please get back to me on this and help resolve this issue? Thanks.

    Is my Xbox One defective?

    Had to put in a service request. This seems to be how my drive operates now.

    1. put in disk, hear slight grind sound

    2. put in disk, does not read it, keep trying, sometimes 10-15 times.

    3. put in disk, hear slight grind, remove disk and hear elongated grind sound.

    It also seems to be getting worse as far as #2 goes. Wonder how long service takes.

    @Your Dead McFly I wasn't able to connect with an Ethernet cable, but I upgraded my modem/router from the Gateway Comcast gave me, and it fixed all my problems. I think the Xbox One's drivers just don't work well with Comcast's gateway. Put all of
    my issues have been erased and my netflix and other apps run alot faster... this was the experience I was looking for when I bout my Xbox One.

    So I was recently banned on a different account. i have 2 accounts on my xbox 360 console my other account and this account. is it possible if i get an xbox one and login through this account and not get banned or will i get banned on the xbox one if i login
    with this account since it was on the xbox banned console i have when it got banned

    As stated, there is nothing that the community can do regarding a device ban and unfortunately, device bans are usually permanent, meaning that the ban is not able to be appealed or overturned. I would suggest reading this informative article regarding Xbox

    You can log in on that website to see any enforcement actions on your account but if you are getting a message stating your console is banned from Xbox Live, then there is nothing you can do with that console anymore. As that is the case, we will now be
