Is my rewards account functioning?

So I'm not sure if my rewards account is actually functioning correctly, I've been a member of it since 2012 and I don to think I've ever been rewarded for the god knows how much I've spent in the store over those 5 years.

Another thing that makes me question it is that it shows my avatar on the reward page as what my avatar looked like way back in 2012ish and it mentions Microsoft point which are now obviously non existent.

I've never gone up a ranking or anything it's very confusing was just wondering if there is a problem or it is the same for everyone and the rewards program just isn't that rewarding haha.

Has anyone else got $6.00 free from microsoft on 360?

I was going to purchase a few games from xbox live on my 360 and I went to add a credit card and saw that for some reason that microsoft put $6.00 into my microsoft account and thought that was just from the rewards program. But I happen to check another account on my xbox 360 that i didn't even use the rewards program with and have just purchase one game with that account and it also has $6.00 in that account also is Microsoft given out $6.00 to us or what is the deal?

Please fix my account and billing info

My account is showing 36000 rewards points as i get 15000 reward points in this month. So please fix my account billing information or transfer my reward points to my new account whose gamertag is "AKM2OO9". Please fix my account or transfer it to my new
account "Gamertag is AKM2OO9".

Hello whiteyflash,

We see multiple Credit and Deposit events on your account, even a deposit event on April 12th. You can see a full log of your Credit activity on the MyStatement section of the MyRewards page. Since we use the Xbox 360 for avatar information, if you have
not been updating from that console, we will not have those changes. Microsoft Points are mentioned on your page as a historical record keeping measure. You are correct that we no longer use that currency. Since it sounds like you are out of date on how our
program works, you can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress
at (Xbox Live Rewards).

No I am posting here because like with all Microsoft stuff there is no indication after 5 minutes of clicking through menus to try to find an appropriate forum to post this to anything that relates to rewards and as stated the rewards email contact system
is worthless. As far as I know, my xbox account is functioning just fine however the rewards account that was attached to it which I was trying to use to buy cards to use in games is suspended because of a feature that Microsoft implemented and then apparently
penalized me for taking advantage of.

Hi there Yasir, my name is Gerardo, and I'm an Xbox player, just like you. I'll be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

It seems that not long ago, the Game Pass codes obtained through the Microsoft Rewards program are trial codes, not retail codes. With this type of code, it is necessary to have a linked credit/debit card or PayPal in your account to redeem them. This applies both when using the auto-redeem function and manually redeeming the Game Pass subscription reward.

It's important to note that you won't be charged as long as you turn off the recurring billing for the subscription.

On the other hand, remember that when using the auto-redeem function, you will still receive the subscription codes via email, which you must manually redeem in your account. What this function does is use your points to automatically redeem the reward in Microsoft Rewards, but it does not directly redeem it in your account.
