    Is modding an on demand Xbox 360 game illegal?


    I'm not trying to do any hacks or cheats, I just want to put a mod which gives new skins to characters.

    Question about Games on Demand...

    Does anyone know if you can play 360 games from Games on Demand on the Xbox One? I've been buying games from Games on Demand lately and the reason for this is because I figured you'd be able to play them on the Xbox One since the Xbox One can't read 360
    game discs. Also, if you can play 360 games on the Xbox One via Games on Demand, what servers would you be playing on? Like if I bought CoD Ghost on the 360 version of Games on Demand, transferred my account onto an Xbox One, would I still be playing on the
    360 servers? Or the Xbox One servers?

    According to the ToU and CoC of the Live service, any type of modding on software or hardware is an offense punishable by ban or suspension from the Live service for gamertag and/or console.

    yes you will get into trouble for doing this, as it is against the terms of use and code of conducts.

    It is not illegal to do so. However, using your Xbox LIVE account to do so will pose a risk to being suspended/banned as well as your console.

    It is not illegal to do so. However, using your Xbox LIVE account to do so will pose a risk to being suspended/banned as well as your console.
