Is Microsoft aware of the insane Aiming down sight Xbox bug on the series X/S?

Hi cliff,

Yes im playing with mouse and keyboard on the Xbox X. My mouse and keyboard work perfectly fine on pc. Its only on the xbox. There's quite a lot of people who have the same bug on the Xbox Series, check this: https://reddit.com/r/Seaofthieves/s/2CW2p8rXoq

They all have the same problem. I hope you guys can test it out and fix it soon.

We just want to set your proper expectations on this. Based on the information you provided, it seems that the issue is related to the ADS (Aim Down Sights) feature in the games you mentioned. This could be caused by a number of factors, such as a software glitch, a hardware issue, or a problem with your controller.



To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend that you try the following steps:

1. Check for updates:

• Make sure that your Xbox Series X is up to date with the latest software updates. To do this, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads, and then select "Console update available" if there is one.
  

2. Power Cycle your console:

• To do this, unplug all attached wired connections on your console and as well as unplug it on the Power Source where you attach it and wait for 30 seconds. Once done, plug it all back in the way it is and play the game that is having issues with the aim.
  

3. Check your controller:

• If the issue persists, try using a different controller to see if the problem is with your controller. You can also try resetting your controller by pressing the small button on the back of the controller with a paperclip.
  

4. Update your controller:

• If the issue still persists, I recommend that you may update your controller by pressing the Xbox Button > Profile & System > Settings > Devices & Connections > Accessories and then select the controller that you want to update.
  
• On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select "..." to check the firmware version of your controller.
  
• If it says "Update," select the Firmware version and just follow all the steps provided.

We appreciate the response on this thread. So to be clear you are using a keyboard and a mouse to play on your Xbox Series X and not a controller, am I right? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Assuming that is the case, can you please try your mouse and keyboard on a different gaming platform like inserting it on another computer and try to play War Games or Shooting games that are free and see and check if that keyboard and mouse that you use for your Xbox Series X will still happen on shooting ADS. So that we can isolate this if this is having issues with your keyboard or mouse or the game itself.

same here.while firing the aim just stops ADS'ing all of a sudden.
