    Iran is not a supported Xbox region, and attempting to access Microsoft services which they are not legally allowed to provide you with can result in account and hardware bans.

    Microsoft, like Netflix and many other online services can be sued for allowing you to do so

    This goes for any country that is not officially supported by Xbox

    hi. iam from iran also, and i still cant login to xbox live. it happened from 7 september, i just guess you have banned iranian ips. i am just watching the situation in upcoming days and if microsoft dont respect iranian people i will switch to playstation
    in this generation and also next gen in 2020.

    This is what im sayin : If connecting to xboxlive and using xbox in not legal in Iran, so ban their IP and then, someone like me would be safe from ur ban waves. Sorry, but im really angry and i cant even speak english anymore:) : but i say again : with
    OFAC IRANIAN GENERAL LICENSE D,Theres no sanctions like this for Iran ;)

    C'mon man! XBOX 360, a gaming console CANT HELP THE GOVERNMENT OF IRAN! And im not gonna give my console to 'em! If microsoft really follows the Federal Laws, Then why they are letting Iranians to Sign up for live? THIS IS ALL IM SAYIN : BAN THEIR IP! NOT
    THEIR ACCOUNTS! Ya know what? I think when we are talkin bout money, microsoft doesnt obey the rules, but when Iranians buy Gold and Points, then microsoft obeys!

    Thats it! And my Xbox is for personal use, not for sell and ... ! Its not a crime! is it?!

    dont really know why half of my post just wiped out! and cant edit it anymore!

    I bought my xbox from US, and im livin in Iran for a short period of time, theres people like me in Iran, I know its legal to exports things like Xbox or its legal to let connect from Iran, (OFAC) , Maybe Microsoft doesnt like to export to Iran, thats ok!
    but if u are banning Iranian users cuz they are in sanction, THEY ARE NOT! (IN THIS CASE), And if Steve Balmer doesnt like Iranians, then BAN THEIR IP! SO THEY WILL NOT CONNECT ! OK? U let 'em play on ur servers, pay for gold, pay for points and u ban 'em?
    cuz they are in sanction? C'mon!
