Is it still a 1:1 conversion ration

So, I saw another question ask if when you are new to gamepass ultimate and have remaining xbox live gold is it a 1:1 conversion ratio and the answer was yes, but that question was from 2019. My question is the same, will my, say, 3 months of xbox live gold be directly converted into 3 months of xbox gamepass ultimate when i get the $1 for one month deal?

It also should be noted that the $1 conversion can only be done ONCE per account.

It is still possible to redeem XBox Kive Gold and other codes after upgrading to Ultimate. However, they are then being converted at a different ratio:

But if I still have 5 months of gold and 3 months will be converted to game pass, and the other 2 months what will happen to them?

No as you would have less ratio

You HAVE to downgrade to free or gold then add gold then upgrade hopefully you stack upto 3 years
