    Battlefield 4 cannot be installed and played on the Xbox 360 slim model's 4GB internal flash drive without an additional hard drive with a minimum of 2GB of space available. Hard drives are sold separately for the Xbox 360 slim, Arcade, and Core models
    but must be internal for this content to work.

    Game won't play.

    It is strange that he can play the game on his system without a hard drive as a hard drive is required to play the original games. The 4 gb slim does not have a hard drive but internal flash. In order to play any original game, you would need to purchase
    the official 250 gb hard drive for your slim xbox.

    If the game requires a hard drive, then yes, you would need an official MS Xbox hard drive in order to play. the 4gb is internal flash memory and not a hard drive. Some games require the Xbox hard drives because of system files on them.

    Battlefield 4 requires an official hard drive. It says so right on the box. Both the internal 4gb and USB drives will not work for this game. Only hard drives. This is the decision of the developer not Microsoft.

    4GB Xbox 360 hard drive issue.

    The 4gb is not a hard drive,it's just an internal flash drive & can get full quite quickly with saves,updates etc.

    If I remember Battlefield wont work with the internal 4gb,you need an official Microsoft hard drive connected to your console.
