    Is it possible to use dual monitors with an xbox one x


    I have a question and can't seem to find the answer anywhere specifically online.

    I want to set up my xbox one x with dual monitors and can this be done.

    The purpose is so i can game on one screen then through xbox run my broadcast say mixer or youtube or something like that on the other screen while i'm gaming. Is this possible? If so what would i specifically need apart from the obvious two monitors and
    my xbox one x (hdmi splitters etc)

    I have read about the snap function but from what i gather this just creates another screen on the same monitor / tv you are gaming on. I know most people who like streaming etc seriously get a PC as well as console or tablet etc but i was just thinking
    for a bit of fun. Also while my games are loading etc i could be using skype, youtube, mixer etc on the other screen

    Thanks, had a feeling this would be the case which is a little annoying. It wouldn't be that difficult for them to set this up. I mean my [Mod Removed- Profanity] work laptop has this function in order for me to use dual screens at work
    which is Microsoft. Its not like its new software they would have to build.

    The Xbox doesn't support dual monitors setup. For this case you will need a PC connected on one monitor, and Xbox on second monitor.

    Fairly certain you can not dual monitor an Xbox One, and a splitter would only split the single video out. Here's hoping the Series X has dual HDMI outputs tho.

    Sorry, to elaborate on my previous response - I've read there are ways to set up dual monitors on an Xbox 360 that would display the same content. However, because of the hardware in the Xbox, dual displays with different views is not possible.
