Is it possible to use custom skins on Minecraft bedrock for xbox series consoles?

Unfortunately it's not possible to use custom skins on the Xbox version of Minecraft. There have been some methods that allowed this in the past, but this is not officially supported and as far as I'm aware there is currently no working method.

I went on minecraft's official page, and you CANNOT add ANY custom skins on Xbox, you can ONLY add custom skins on Bedrock for pc, mobile, and Chromebook

Within the Minecraft support page it is mentioned that this is only available for the Windows and mobile versions.

Sadly nope, is not possible to do it.

According to Skins FAQ it seems that now skins between Java and Bedrock are different

Here is how to equip new items to your character in the dressing room.

Note: The Dressing Room is exclusive to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

How to use the Dressing Room in Minecraft

Character creator items

If you are looking to add character creator items to your Minecraft character, follow these steps:

Start Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. 

Select Dressing Room. 

Select the character slot you want to edit or a new one. 

Select Edit Character. 

Open the Body or Style tab. 

Find the item in the proper section. 

Click Equip.

How to equip classic skins in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

If you instead want to use a classic skin from something you purchased in the Marketplace, do the following:

Start Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Select Dressing Room.

Select the character slot you want to change the skin of or a new one.

Select Edit Character.

Select Classic Skins on the left bar.

Browse through and select the skin you want to use.

Click Equip.

Note: Classic skins cannot be customized with character creator items.

If you're still experiencing issues, go into the game settings, log out of your Minecraft account, and then log back in to resync your account.
