Is it possible to stop a free trial if you didn’t install it?

I was about to buy a Xbox game pass in 2 hours and the games I wanted have a free trial, I tap a and it says to install, I didn’t install it but is there anyway to get rid of it before the trial runs out and I haven’t install it?

Depending on the games the free trial will go to a certain point in the game or will have a timer for hour played, in any of those cases you have to open the game an actually play before it starts counting time played

But how "stupid" is that? I mean access to some gold features is a joke. A trial makes no sense if you can test only a part of the features...

Btw... I´ve got the same problem with that "trial". It was possible to enter the code, download a free game but it`s not possible to install it...

Attempting now. I just cannot possibly fathom why it’s this one title that’s causing this issue. And I’ve seen reviews dating as far back as 2019 that this game doesn’t download at all.

And it didn’t work, again.

Installing, installation stopped. Installing, installation stopped.

Happens for 4-5 times and then stays on Installation stopped. And when I hit resume it INSTANTLY says installation stopped.

I’m just gonna have to call Microsoft, aren’t I? You’re being as helpful as you can, and I appreciate it.

I didn’t see it in my ready to install until i got the trial so the trial is the only thing I could see now i cant find the game anymore and can’t install the game
