Is it possible to revert a cloud save made for a game?

Basically over the weekend I lost internet and I was playing borderlands offline on a different console. When I got internet back it tried to sync the local storage with cloud.. Obviously there was a conflict since the cloud storage was made with a different
console.

Without thinking about it too much I resolved the conflict using the most recent one. The most recent one was the one made with new console while offline over the internet. So I lost my oldest character (which was on the other console).. When I logged back
in with the other console it updated to what's currently in cloud (so my old character isn't even there locally now). I don't see anyway to go back to an old version of the cloud save. Is there a way Microsoft can revert to an older cloud game save? I am fine
if I lose the progress made over the weekend.

Okay, unfortunately not the answer I was hoping for, but thank you for the quick response.

Hello Brussell,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. We understand that you would like to revert, or have Microsoft revert a cloud save to an older save file. Unfortunately that is not possible. Once a cloud save file is overwritten, nothing can be done to get
it back. The screen where you select which save file to go with is the last chance to keep that file before it is overwritten.

Unfortunately unless you made a separate file save of this world there is no way to revert the world from an old cloud save.

Hello!

Sounds like you're having trouble with Gears of War progress for specific things is not saving to the cloud. Did you have play these games on the same account on Xbox 360? It's possible that its trying to revert back to previous cloud saves. Please let us
know a few more details regarding this situation. Did you ever enable cloud saved storage on a Xbox 360 console or transfer content for these games over onto the cloud saved storage on an Xbox 360?
