Is it possible to reverse a game code redemption?

So today I won a giveaway and redeemed a code for MW2 console for xbox. I redeemed it on the xbox game PC app for windows thinking it would be compatible. It is not. I currently do not own an xbox console but want to play the game. Is it possible to get a brand new code if I already redeemed it? Perhaps a refund of some sort? The game hasn't even been downloaded its just sitting in my library and will never be touched. I would like to get a new code and maybe trade it off for a battle net version or just sell it and use the funds to purchase it for the PC.

Once a code has been redeemed, it cannot be unredeemed.

I'm afraid this will not be possible. Voucher content cannot be transferred once redeemed. Code redemption is permanent and cannot be reversed. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. Always make sure you're signed into the correct account before redeeming a code.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are looking to have the redemption of a code for Minecraft. Unfortunately, once a code is redeemed, the content that comes with it will remain on the account and can not be transferred/reversed.

Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer content between accounts, once a code is redeemed it is no longer possible to reverse that redemption

All of Microsoft's redemption codes are 25-bit, is it possible that you got a Minecraft redemption code for another platform, such as PlayStation?
