Is it possible to remove an owned trial version of a game?

Sadly i agree with everyone else i have same problem can only hide maybe someone could mention it to microsoft i would love to have option to remove the icons completely

no you can't because you accept term of use every game what you accept&install from Xbox Store. You can only hide any game from your game library.

Unfortunately there is no way to remove the trial license from your account and the period to redeem the free license for the full game with a Gold subscription has now passed. Trials generally have separate tiles in your games library to denote that one
is a trial and the other is the full game. Whatever you see in "Ready to install" are the licenses that you've purchased or redeemed that are ready to download. If the Microsoft Store on the Xbox One and the online website prompts you to buy the game, then
your account does not own the license to the full game and you would need to pay to gain full access.

Did you remember to claim the game in August when it was offered for Xbox Live?

Hey there! So if I’m understanding correctly you redeemed Gears of War 4 when it was free on Games with Gold, but now that you’ve downloaded it, you can only play the trial version?

The only reason I can think of as to why this might be happening is if your Xbox Live Gold membership has expired, and so your license for the game has reverted back to just the trial of the game. Is that definitely not the case?

If not I’d normally recommend a hard reboot (hold down the power button for 10 seconds on your console until it turns off, unplug it from the wall for 5 minutes once it’s off - this will completely clear the cache and give you a fresh dashboard and connectivity).

If that doesn’t work, I think your best solution is contacting Microsoft support directly, as they’ll be see whether or not your account actually received the full game license via Games With Gold, whereas no one on this forum will be able to access your
account to verify this.
