    Is it possible to prevent Xbox One X from automatically disabling HDR when casting to PC?


    The title pretty much sums it up. My Xbox One X is connected to a Samsung 27" Curved 2K monitor. Without casting I'm getting the beautiful HDR quality. Once I cast or stream from Xbox to the PC it'll automatically disable HDR on the current display.

    I'm already hardwired via ethernet. I've also already have the capture card, but was trying another option before investing to see how and if it can be done.

    I was experimenting with the built-in cast feature. With the Xbox companion app or thirdy-part app such as Onecast allows you to cast wirelessly.
