    Is it possible to overwrite accounts?


    Hello, is it possible to overwrite an old account (PC) with creating an account (Xbox) with the same email? Because that's what I think happened to me. I bought Minecraft long ago then migrated and stopped playing for a long time because I went abroad (where I created a new account with the same email on an Xbox). Now my account for Minecraft isn't the old one and I have to buy the game again.

    I would like to let you know that is not possible to override one Microsoft account with other.

    Creating a new Microsoft account using the old email doesn't restore the content purchased with that account.
    Do you don't know if maybe your account was compromised?

    Hello, Ben, a compromised account means that someone unauthorized changed your account information.

    This could happen, for example when your PC has a virus, when you borrow the account to someone else, or even if you reuse the same password across different services and one of those services experiences a data leak.
