Is it possible to move Xbox Live/Games for Windows Live Gamertag from one MS Account to...

to be able to move the gamertag on your email account to his windows live id, you will first need to remove the 'other' gamertag on his live id (Microsoft Account).

This link describes on how to move a xbox live account, from one email (Microsoft Account) to another, it also contains steps when there is already a dofferent xbox live account present:

In short:

1. Download the 'other' gamertagto the console

2. Wait 30 days (A profile needs to be at least 30 days on a console, before it can be moved)

3. Move the 'other' gamertag (xbox live account) to a different Microsoft Account (email). This will free up his windows live id (Microsoft account)

4. Move the xbox live account on your email (MIcrosoft Account), to his live id (MIcrosoft Account)

Merging accounts is not possible, so only the first option is possible, it does require an xbox 360 console.

Deleting an xbox live account is not possible, but moving it to a different MS account is after which that MS account can be closed, making the xbox live account inaccessible

Blazing try doing this if you would like to keep your current email account and block the spam;

Go to your email settings once you click the cog look towards the bottom and find all outlook setting click that, then select junk mail

Once you click junk mail look for safe sender list add who you want to get emails from here and then if you want something more restrictive check the box under filters the says "only trust emails from my safe senders and domain list and safe mailing list.

You can also add the spam emails to the block senders list.

Okay, but if I create a new email to use that as a sign in alias. Or alternatively a third party email like Gmail or Yahoo or my own Domain email for a new sign in alias as you say.

Will my Xbox Live Gamertag and Profile remain intact even if I were to theoretically delete my Microsoft Account after changing the primary email alias? I mean I don't mind keeping it, I could simply abandon the email altogether and just not login. I have already
been in the process to change the email address of my accounts associated with my hotmail account just in case I decide to delete it for future.

But I don't want to lose Xbox Live/Games for Windows Live with all game licenses and achievements. Thank God many of my GFWL PC titles like Bioshock 2 and Dirt 3 migrated to Steam.

I need to know if after the 60 days waiting period the MS account and email that gets deleted will not affect Xbox Live after I make these changes.

But the problem is the spammers will continue to enjoy successfully sending out those emails into my existing email address! I want them punished so when they attempt to send emails they will get an "automatic failure to deliver message". This is what
I did with my Google Account email, google let me delete the Gmail address and I assigned yandex as my new address for my google account 3 years ago and the spam completely stopped. No spam in my yandex mail and sending emails to the gmail results in automatic
failure to deliver since it is deleted.

With Microsoft Account it seems I am unable to delete individually the live.co.uk email address and simply change the primary alias to to the Microsoft account to something else. This is a major drawback.

What you are basically suggesting me to do is add a new desired email address to my account, and set that as the primary sign in alias but ignore the old email address. This seems a little bit pointless to me.

Because although I would be able to sign in to Xbox Live or Games for Windows Live with a different email address, I won't be able to delete the live.co.uk email without deleting the Microsoft account. So if I delete the Microsoft account, despite assigning
a different email address as the primary alias, this will delete the Microsoft account if I am correct?

Here's some more information I found!!!

"After 365 days of inactivity, your
email will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
After 2 years of inactivity, your Microsoft account will be
deleted and cannot be recovered. 2. If your account was marked
inactive it would not exist.30 Apr 2016"

Could this be another alternative solution? If I do not login to the email address for 365 days and the email gets deleted will the the Microsoft Account along with Xbox Live continue to function correctly? And what happens then will the Microsoft Account no
longer have a Microsoft email or can I at least use it without the outlook email?
