    Is it possible to move xbox data from one microsoft account to another?


    For context, the microsoft account of my xbox account was made before I could make one myself, and is under my mom's account/name. However, she passed away early last year and Id like to be able to move the data on my xbox account towards a different account so that way there isnt anything connected to the microsoft account and we can "put it to rest"

    It is not possible to move data from one Microsoft Account to another, the main reasons, security and cheating.

    How do I set up an Xbox One to a new Microsoft account without losing all the data?

    the only problem is if the original email is a Microsoft one (@live @hotmail etc) it will close that account down.

    As stated it is not possible to move data from one account to another.
