    Is it possible to move a child's xbox live profile from one Microsoft account to another please?

    Child xbox account currently lined to Dad's Microsoft account.

    Dad no longer willing to pay for Son's xbox live account and Mum going to take the cost on, but wants to do it under her own Microsoft account.

    What are the steps please to move the Childs xbox profile from being signed in on Dad's account, to now being signed in on Mum's account?

    Hi there,

    I'm afraid it's not possible to change a Adult account to a Child account, it's also not possible to move achievements and progress from one Xbox Live account to another Xbox Live account.

    There are a few exceptions like Fortnite, where it should be possible to link the Epic account (the account that holds Fortnite progress) to another Xbox Live Account.

    A Microsoft account and Xbox account are the same thing. They'd either need to continue using the same account or you would need to create a brand new account for them (they would have to start over).

    Set up xbox live for kids not working

    In order to use the account you created, you will need to download the account to the console -

    support.xbox.com/.../download-your-xbox-live-profile-to-another-360-console     This will be different from your child's offline account. It is no longer possible to create a child account on the console, so you can't move their offline account to Live.

    @Those having issues with Plants vs. Zombies - That is an online game. It requires a gold subscription in order to be played.
