    Is it possible to invoke a change in the current voting system?


    The current backward compatibility voting is flooded with games that either already have a Xbox one version of the game or the developer has basically said that they are not going to make their games available for the backward compatibility program. Would
    it even be possible for a purge of such games?

    Windows live ID transfer?

    Is there any possible way to change my current windows live id to another and still have it recognize my current gamertag. In a nutshell can i change it so i log in with a different email? I've lost the current password to my email so I cannot check updates,
    notifications, or events.

    Since Xbox Live Rewards is transitioning to Microsoft Rewards in the US region, where you have registered, there is no way to change your Xbox Live Rewards region.

    They changed over to a different voting system after the previous one became a cluttered mess.

    I think they are always looking to get as many games backwards compatible as possible.

    Currently it is not possible to vote for BC games on Xbox Ideas, since there's no active Idea Drive about BC games.

    TBH and as i'm sure you know there is no real way to stop people from abusing the system,

    the only thing i can do is track users votes with cookies and IP.

    The site will go live as a BETA first, we'll then find out wether the 10 star system

    works or not.

    If we find that the system is being used unfairly then i may have to change how people

    vote, possibly by only allowing a 'thumbs up' vote, meaning users will only be able to give

    positive feedback.

    Do you have any ideas of how this can be handled?

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to make an adult account a child account.

    While it's possible to move your son's gamertag account to a different email, this will currently result in your Microsoft account to be deleted after the move. So that's usually not an option for the parent either. Also, this doesn't also change the "adultness"
    of the account.

    You should vote for and add your comment to

    If enough people vote and comment on that idea, Microsoft will implement the changes in the future, so you can change your child's account.
