xbox connect to laptop throught HDMi not working

    Hi there,

if you are trying to get the video/display from the Xbox console to show on your laptop (via HDMI cable), then that likely isn't possible as most laptops are not build to receive video signals from an external source. A laptop usually only outputs video signals to the display from the laptop itself or towards an external source like a TV or monitor

    Xbox wont connet to tv

Some other trouble shooting tips are to narrow down what all is possible, so if you have another device that connects via HDMI, try using that cable with the Xbox for example or perhaps try using a Laptop to the cable your trying to use for the Xbox. Also
if you have another TV, you can also try hooking the Xbox up to it. This should help narrow down what all works and where the problem might be as well.

Connecting to a GoWifi connection, won't connect.

I don't know about military bases, but if it's anything like university setups, and some other locations, you may need to do a bridge with a laptop or other device.

That`s where the laptop is connected to the internet, and you have a cable running to your xbox from it.

    XBOX One - 802.1X / WPA2-Enterprise

The Xbox One support WPA, WPA2, and WEP. There's nothing in the support documentation about WPA2-Enterprise and 802.1X authentication.

I know others in universities have used their laptops to connect to their universities networks and then used the MAC Address from the laptop connection on the Xbox 360. This should be possible with the Xbox One as well by adjusting the alternative MAC Address
and replacing it with another already connected device like a laptop.
