    I bought a used xbox series s and ive been playing gta 5 and it seems as if the game can only run at 1080p 30 fps on a 4k tv and there is no option for performance mode on it.

    Ive checked if the tv is compatible and it is but it shows no signs of 4k or 1080p 60 fps.

    You need to use the Series specific version of GTA for higher performance. You can run X1 software in Series, but not the other way round

    If what you mean by that is a software update, that is not possible. You need to buy the Physical Xbox One or Series S/X at a store such as Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

    There's no such thing as an Xbox One Series S. There's an Xbox One S and an Xbox Series S. That game is only available for the Series S/X, not the One. So if you have a One S, it will not work.
