Is it possible to get a false ban removed?

OK so, This was back in 2017 and the false ban never got removed when it should have. I did not know till now and the ban reason was for "cheating" I been on Xbox for 5 years straight not once cheated is it possible in anyway for me to get rid of the false
ban? All I did was kill someone went afk for 40mins and got banned for "cheating".

Was this an Xbox Ban or game ban?

Unfortunately if it was an xbox ban no one on this site can assist with suspensions/bans as this is handled entirely by the
Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team. Please keep in mind:

Since the ban wasn't issued in the last 12 months, you are ineligible for a
case review. (See the page for details)
You can check your enforcement history, xbox live message(s), and/or email to see what the length of your suspension is (which varies depending on the severity of the offense(s)).

If this was a game ban, you can try to reach out the developer of the game and see what their policy is for reviewing cases.

What game waw you playing that allowed you to stay afk for 40mins? Usually after 2 mins of afk you get kick from the game for inactivity.

As already mention there is nothing that can be done about your ban. Best of luck.

You would have had to contact the enforcement team at the time of the ban to submit a case review and they possibly could have overturned their decision. Since it's been over 12 months, it's not longer possible to contact them regarding the ban.

The ban was over 12 months ago, the OP has no recourse with enforcement, the case is closed as far as they are concerned.
