So I found my friend at a store and told me to add him on Xbox but I no longer have his gamer tag just his email address is there a reverse search engine or something where I can find his gamer tag through his email address?

hi I was playing around with the game tag change feature and as I typed in FYoScreenNeegga I tried to look if it's available and while doing that my controller somehow double tapped and now I'm stuck with this gamer tag. I wanted to tell you in advance before

No. The system is designed to only do a search by the Gamertag only. The sign in email address for the account is not searchable. It's also a security feature so no one but you, the account owner, knows the sign in email address for the account.

1) Old email with gamer tag I want

2) Current email with gamer tag I don’t want

I want to move the gamer tag I want from the old email address to my current email address. If possible, to delete my new gamer tag I don’t want

Hiya, it's not possible to have two gamer tags associated with the same email. You can have billing info going to the same address but not the account itself. Here is a page that will help you find the email address.

1st question is this was support able to find your account with your gamertag that you had on that account? If so that means the account is still open and possibly you are misspelling the email address with one that the system is not able to find. hence
its giving you that message.

if support was not able to find an account for you with your gamer tag then yes its possible that it was closed due to inactivity.

now if support was able to find an account for you and they can verify that account ownership then they would be able to get into the account enough to tell you what the email address is for the account.

If you can, please go back and edit your post to remove your personal info "email address" from your last post.

Each account will have it's own unique sign in email address and gamer tag.

The "pillow" gamer tag is tied to that email address.

Your other gamer tag "snowcat" is going to be tied to another email address. So that's going to be the trick is to see if you can find what email address you might have used for the "snowcat" account.
