    is it possible to find if an xbox ign is now available


    Hi so its been about 2 years or so since i made my account and it has a # number in it because the original ign was taken and ive not seen activity from the original ign and i was wondering if it was now available and that i can take it to get rid of the # number As it suits my brand more is it possible to find if an xbox ign is now available :)

    If you can still search for and find the original tag, then it's still on the servers so you would still be given a suffix even if the user is not active.
