    Is it possible to combine my microsoft account money with my credit card to purchase gold??


    So I have left over money in my Microsoft account, and I also have a credit card to buy Xbox Live Gold. Is it possible to use my microsoft account money then top it off with my mastercard? P.S this is for Xbox Live!

    Sorry but currency on your account cannot be used to purchase a Gold membership.

    As I mentioned in your other thread, currently currency cannot be used to purchase Gold memberships.

    Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card in a store. It is not possible to use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase gold.

    It's not possible to purchase gold with the balance in your Microsoft account. You can only purchase gold with credit cards/Paypal or a prepaid gold card.
