    Is it possible to be Perma-banned on Xbox for false accusations?


    I have been banned 2 times by a user who I will not name, and I was wondering if it is possible to lose my account wrongfully. This previous user hates me and will do whatever it takes to ruin my day. If I do get falsely banned is there anyway to appeal the ban? Can I play games such as the division 2 where I play alone but it requires Xbox live? These may be different questions than the original but they have all been on my mind. Get back to me when you can

    Hello Aidan, the department responsible for bans and suspensions is Enforcement, they apply the penalties according to the seriousness of the infraction, so it is impossible to specify whether in this case it would be motovo for a permanent ban.

    But if you receive a Permanent Ban, it really is permanent.

    So I was reported for Dosing someone during a game and I didn’t do any such thing will I get banned?

    Enforcement will check and if they find what they say is true then I guess you get banned if what they say is false they may get banned for false accusation

    usually People are asking with a different gamertag so i always assumed a banned gamertag can not post on xbox.com boards? are you speaking about a xbox account ban or a game specific ban?

    anyway use the link provided by bobmcfly, enforcement Team is not checking any other part of the Forums then their own

    You may also be banned just from communications, so you cannot join parties or write PMs but may still have acces to the forums.
