    Is it possible that maybe a fuction can be to cast your Xbox to the Xbox Console Companion...


    Is it possible that maybe a fuction can be to cast your Xbox to the Xbox Console Companion application on Windows and be able to use mouse and keyboard.

    Context:

    I play fortnite on my xbox and since my xbox is in my living room, if i'd like to play fortnite, i'd have to go to my living room and connect the keyboard and mouse to my xbox and play in the living room.

    Possible fixes but doesn't work:

    1. People might say to just play on controller but I can't because im not good at it and it also affects my ability to react because i'm not familiar with it.

    2. Some might say to use wireless keyboard and mouse but the main problem is that it always doesn't work. What I mean is that for my home at least it is not in range, and also even if it is in range, the mouse and keyboard adapters would interfere which
    means sometimes the keyboard might control some of the buttons on my mouse and my mouse buttons can control some of the keyboard keys because the wrong dongle takes the signal.

    Fix:

    Is it possible that you could use your keyboard and mouse inputs on your PC to affect the Xbox, even if it is an external keyboard and mouse its still ok. Like be able to say I want this mouse to control the Xbox and maybe the touchpad on the laptop to stay
    as to control the laptop.

    This is a lengthy post but I really do want to be able to do this. Please do not mention any fixes that already includes what i said in the possible fixes or the context. All help is still apprecitated though.

    Although i can’t test this I am pretty certain there are bluetooth adaptors you can buy that let you use a keyboard and mouse with the xbox so if you just connect that to your box directly then stream via pc surely that can work ? If not there must be
    a feature to enable control somehow ?

    I know that there is a option to stream your Xbox to your PC but I don't know if you can play with the M/K. I never tried, but I don't think they will add something like this.

    There are games in Xbox that have keyboard and mouse support, including fornite, you should check to take advantage of the function

    Hey there!

    I am 99% sure that is not possible. However Fortnite is Mouse and Keyboard compatible on Xbox One so all you need to do is plug a mouse and keyboard into your Xbox One and you are good to go! I have never experienced an issue where using a wireless mouse and
    keyboard VIA USB adapter that one or the other ends up controlling the other so I'm not sure how that is happening, is your TV and couch 100 yards away or something how far we talking? There is the Razer Turret which is wireless and would be good for your
    setup. My recommendations would be go wireless or move your console somewhere you can plug in a Mouse and KB.
