    I have a number of purchases in quick succession on my XBOX but I am adamant my son did not make them. There was a passcode on the account so I cannot understand how he could have purchased but support saw saying he was the only one logged on from that console
    so it must be him. I don't believe it. Is there any way he could have been hacked or would support see someone logging in ?

    XBOX ONE:Multiplayer and online connectivity issues

    Just got my Xbox one about a week ago, everything is pretty much ok. Except..... when I try to play online (killer instinct) I went to multiPlayer online match an it said I needed to purchase xbox gold.

    this is odd seeing as I just renewed back in August.

    So can someone please assist me so I can avoid having to purchase it again.

    How would I have purchased a game on someone else's account if they weren't signed in when I bought it though? I have purchased probably over 10 games in the past 2 years and couldn't possibly have accidentally bought it on someone else's account when
    I used my account's pre-saved credit card to buy it.

    well they recognize the email but one number is wrong so it's our email how is it even possible that it's someone else's email isn't there any confirmation post? but this probably means that i can't use my own xbox live account when playing online anymore?

    In answer to the above. I assume phising could be a possible explanation, but I have NEVER given my login details away, and I am very careful online, so feel like this could of been an unlikely option.

    Secondly I got hacked whilst I was ONLINE playing FIFA, I also am the only one who uses my XBOX so it was defo not someone else buying the points.

    Finally even if I was phished, surely as I reported it Microsoft should remove the remaining points and credit me my money back? Or am I to understand that because someone potentially ripped me off online then I am completely out of pocket as a result?
