Unfortunately it's not possible to change the groups platform that you are seeing on LFG, but as there is the Bedrock Edition from Minecraft that is cross platform, you can try using another LFG places, such as Discord servers that have a lot of players from all platforms online searching for new people to play!

Thank you for keeping us updated. I've looked around and it's possible that there is a current bug affecting LFG for Minecraft specifically because I saw another thread with a very similar issue.

By any chance do you happen to have a Windows 10 PC to try the Xbox app for Windows 10? Also do you by any chance have any other games you can try looking for a group? I'm curious to see if it's just Minecraft LFG causing this error.

There have been some rumors about the next Xbox project but I'm almost positive that the next generation of Xbox console's won't come out until 2020. Seeing that Microsoft is still supporting the Xbox 360 way into the lifetime of the Xbox One, I'm fairly
positive that the Xbox One will continue to be supported way into the lifetime of the new generation of consoles once they come out. Tune in to this years E3 for a new console reveal.

Let us know if you can try LFG on the Xbox app for Windows 10 or if you can try searching another game.

On which device/platform are you trying use LFG?

Please make sure that your account privacy settings are correctly setup already. Check the guide below on how to use LFG:

To further isolate the issue, try it on Windows PC or Xbox app on mobile if you get the same issue. Please also try to use LFG using a different game and see if the issue is the same with other games.

Also a further note, the forums aren't supposed to be used as an LFG. The Xbox One and Xbox mobile/PC app actually have built in clubs and LFG features you may want to use. As well as 3rd party LFG sites/apps like GameLink. https://gamerlinkapp.com/call-of-duty-lfg

Thanks for confirming that your issue is about the PC version of Looking for Group (LFG). In that case, Xbox Console Companion has been a great help for streaming, LFG and installation of games in the previous versions of the Windows. Now, that Windows 10 and Windows 11 is updated, the Xbox Console Companion will be moved over to Xbox app. Where Xbox app will help you manage your game library and subscription, while the built in app - Xbox Game Bar will help you with the recording, capturing, linking of account, and managing headset/microphone and LFG.
