    Is it normal that sometimes take 1 min and sometime take 30 sec to turn off xbox flash icon...


    Hi every day when i finishing playing when i turn off the xbox(series x) sometime it take 10 or 20 sec to fully turn off(xbox icon flash turn off) sometimes 1 minute i think i wanna know is it normal? And if it's normal why this happen?

    Where you have placed your console seems ok to me. This is where I would place it. It is a ventilated area where air can flow through.

    Oh thanks i have one more question xbox have lots of way to shutdown but i heard don't shutdown console with controller(i mean holding xbox button and shut it down) is it true?

    In addition to Nathan’s answers above, you may want to enable the shutdown option (energy saving) power mode if you’re concerned about the energy consumption and the amount of time your console takes to power off. Refer to:

    It’s honestly nothing to worry about as long as your console is positioned correctly and well ventilated, though. The power cable should ideally be connected directly to the wall outlet with no extension cables in the setup if possible :)

    When you turn off the Xbox Console, it can take anything up to 2 minutes to turn off. There is nothing to worry about with how long your console is turning off.
