    Is it normal for the insider hub and other apps to soft lock your Xbox one?


    The 3 notable apps that soft lock me are twitch, Microsoft edge, and Xbox insider and every “fix” I’ve found on google either completely doesn’t relate or doesn’t work at all. Any help?

    Hi there,

    If game updates can only be installed by forcing them when starting a game and an update is available, then that is not normal and the next step to try would be a soft factory reset as mentioned before. You should be able to initiate an update from the section
    in your games and apps library with the display picture that you mention you cannot see. Do you experience any issues with Xbox Live connectivity? It could just be a syncing issue.

    If the issue persists after a soft factory reset and we can rule out the network, then the bug could be a result of your recent preview system update build and the problem will need to be reported through the

    Xbox Insider Hub app    .
