Is it legit or safe to change region to get early access?

It's region, not religion. Religion is your Faith.

I'm going to convert from Christianity to Judaism to get one day early access to a video game. That's a pretty solid Faith you got there.

It can put you at risk for being banned.

If you receive a legit copy early, it is safe to play. People were banned for Pirated games, not legit. If you get a game earlier then the release date again in the future and would rather be safe, I would wait until the release date to play.

You will not be banned as long as it is a legit copy of the game. If it were Pirated, that would be another story. But if in the future you get another game early and want to be safe anyways, I would wait until the release date of the game to start playing
it. But you should be safe.

CoC was changed a while back & you can get banned for playing a game early,even if it is a legit copy.
