    Is it legal to buy games from third parties?


    Hello

    In Algeria some sellers they have a method to play games on Xbox series S called control parental,

    They share the game with you throughout using an email. and following this control parental method.

    By using his method they sell games like Red dead redemption II, Watch Dogs Legion III, FC24...ETC for very cheap price like 2$ to 2.5$.

    Is that black hat and illegal or what?

    N.B: In Algeria and since the prices of dollar are very high, people cannot afford these games.

    It violates the Xbox terms & conditions & can lead to an account or even a console ban.

    Thank you Ben for the response and yes it is best to say that it is safer to buy the gift card from the official website of Xbox or Microsoft. I'm just wondering whether all of the third-party vendors are able to legally resell them without permission from Xbox or Microsoft just to be clear.

    So you can buy the cards from other third-party stores, and you just pay for the 10.99 for game pass. Instead of buying the game pass unlimited

    Well dont buy dodgy codes from third parties then

    You cannot buy 16 months from Xbox or microsoft

    There are the 24 month all access

    Or the stack of gold and then upgrade to ultimate

    There are some 12month codes from.official sellers

    But you can't use trial codes from third parties or stack trial codes

    You have to contact your third party and get a refund from them

    Only rely on sellers from official partners and watch out for resellers
