Is it fine to place left side of G560 speaker on top of my Xbox one x?

I have an xbox one x and a g560 speakers and subwoofer. I was wondering if its fine to sit one of the speaker on top of my xbox one x as theres not much room on my desk, other wise it will have to be directly behind my monitor. Thanks

Yeah thats what i thought, its about 2 pounds = 0.9 kg

i might just put behind my monitor to be safe. my other thing was would the heat thats the xbox is putting out going to damage/affect it any way

As long as the speaker is not heavy and does not cover any air vents, then it should be fine.

I think this is hard to answer. Warm is relative but if your system is placed in a well ventilated area and not beside anything you should be fine. Keep in mind the right side, top are what need to be clear and in an open area.

The left is just a drive and no vents.

Could you further describe your problem?

Is it not turning on or are you trying to connect it to your console?

You can do it via a cable connection to your console or by pressing the connect button on the controller which is on the top side next to the charging input and on the console either on the left side ( Xbox One) or on the front (Xbox One S and X)

I strongly recommend not putting consoles (or whatever) on top of each other because the heat generated by one console would needlessly make the unused console hot.

If you have an entertainment stand, place the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on different shelves. If I were in this scenario, I would put my other console on the side table that is located on the left side of the table that has my TV / Xbox 360.
