Is it ableist for someone with autism to call something autistic

Hey Ive just recieved a suspension for being ableist I thought making it public was wise due to the implication of it, I do on rare occasion use the term "autistic" this mainly because I have been autistic for 26 years I even wear an autism awareness band
24/7 so obviously its never far from my mind. Ive seen a similar effect happen with my gay friends using gay in an irronic manor and also people of ethnicities reclaiming slurs that weigh on there minds, as someone on the autism spectrum I honestly didnt know
I did anything wrong and also I dont see how its ablist since technically people with autism are my people I see it more of a boon. The funny part is the person I said it to was harrasing and bullying me so he was the ableist in the situation. So microsoft
essentially think if someone with a disability says thier disability as an ironic comeback its ableist but if you want to harass, bait and bully autistic people till you get a reaction its ok aslong as you dont use buzzwords. Am I right that this is paradoxical
and if I am then also shouldnt microsoft have informed me its not ok to say autistic and just let me off with a warning? sorry for post size this has just really bothered me, in future I wont mention my disability unless its directly about me but Im still
going to have a lonely few weeks.

Gamer parents, autistic gamer kids

My youngest is a high functioning autistic, I would suggest checking for a local group - i know the meetups with other parents and kids are a great relief for me. In Orange County (CA) there is Community Autism Now (www.communityautismnow.org)

If someone harasses you online just report them or block them. Retaliating goes violates the code of conduct and that includes "ironic comebacks"

I didn't want it removed I wanted the opinion of individuals over a business and also to inform any other autistic people that using our own disability in a sentence is now ableist and they threaten serious action. To many chefs spoil the soup and often
times Microsoft make some sketchy divisions and let people get away with say some nasty stuff to me so I just didn't see the issue in saying something minor plus whoever reviewed it thought the pages upon pages the guy sent me prior to me before telling him
to "he was to autistic" was harrasment but like I said thier decisions seem convoluted and spurious at best. I do understand a retaliation would warrant it but on what planet am I ableist.

Ive cooled down over this now since I cant delete it Im going to have to add a longwinded amendment, I get I reacted badly having time to think on it although Im not ableist I am a twit, The reasons I lost it with that creep spamming me do go beyond him,
I myself am autistic as before mentioned what I didnt mention was my anxiety n depression. depression with autism currently isnt supported by the english mental health care system, unfortunately it is not possible to use cognitive behavioural therapy with
frontal cortex anomalies, In short the help "normal" people get I dont which means no matter how much I beg GPs and psychologists all they can do is throw pills at me and wish me goodluck. In short unless I **** I will always say stupid things I dont have
the filter "normal" people have and no amount of bans or threats will change the configuration of nueral my pathways that said I intend to try harder to have only positive interactions and block and report everyone that isnt kind or atleast reasonable, oh
and my medication isnt working at the moment I have doctors later since Im only sleeping every other night at the moment so microsoft has been more spiteful with thier punishment then they know. So ye not a bad person or an ableist Im just a guy with asberges
who said a dumb thing one night probably not help by the metric tonne of turd balanced on my plate.

To be honest i received a suspension for calling someone something I'm not going to repeat, but I'm unhappy that the player who i called is allowed to get away with calling me autistic in a message and that's discrimination towards disabled people but i have to suffer with a 4 day suspension while they get to go around being discriminating. In all my years of playing Xbox since 2001 back on the original Xbox i have never met players that can be abusive like that assuming someone has Autism and take the mick out of them see attached image.
